Customer Support Specialist


The person we are looking for will be responsible for customer support on our software solutions, providing clarifications and indications, both for Italian and foreign customers, thus becoming a MAIOR guide for public transportation companies. The candidate should have good computer skills, analytical, and organizational skills.

Our offer: A fixed-term contract, aimed at permanent employment, technical training, and continuous training, as well as a real opportunity for professional growth.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, excellent knowledge of English (knowledge of other languages will be a plus), good teamwork skills, negotiation skills, proactivity, customer orientation, working in Florence.

The work mainly consists of the definition, planning, and implementation of software tools, within a development group organized according to the SCRUM methodology.

Requirements: First level degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent, Java knowledge, knowledge of the relational data model, and knowledge of English.

Desired skills: Second level degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent, knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL databases, knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and knowledge of Angular and Scala.

Product Specialist


The person we are looking for will be responsible for the start-up, in Italy and abroad, of the software systems developed by MAIOR and the execution of related services, such as, for example, analysis of business processes, applications configurations, training, and support online and on-site.

Requirements: Degree in Transportation Engineering, Project Management experience (Organizational Design, Group and Meeting Management, Time Management, Problem Solving), excellent knowledge of English (preferably native) and other languages, motivation skills of the project team, negotiation skills, proactivity, customer orientation and domicile in the province of Florence or willingness to move.

Software Quality Assurance Analyst


The work consists mainly in the definition, planning and implementation of tests to ensure high-quality software for public transportation companies, within a development group organized according to the SCRUM methodology.

Requirements: First level degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent, knowledge of procedures and methods of Software Testing, analysis of project specifications, Test Cases writing and Test Plan definition, execution of functional and non-functional tests and Regression, execution of different levels of testing (System, Integration, Acceptance), use of bug tools, task and documentation management (Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Excel), knowledge of the Agile methodology, excellent approach to problem solving, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent ability to collaborate and excellent ability to work on different projects at the same time.
